About Allie Rood
Allie graduated with a BA in Art with a focus on sculpture and digital media, from Whitman College. She is also an alumnus of Yestermorrow Design/ Build school. Allie is a producer and content creator, who has spent over a decade telling stories in the outdoor industry. She has shot, edited and produced multiple films which have screened at various festivals across the world. For the last 4 years, Allie has worked as Creative Production Manager for the beloved New Zealand outdoor brand Macpac- leading production for all content streams in the business.
Allie Rood seeks to build rich and intimate connection to place, self, and other people through her work. She is currently directing her first feature film Design/ Build Movie, a documentary about her hometown, and considers it to be a very personal passion project. She has been working on it for over six years.
